Endless Drama His Leads The Coming Economic Implosion
Former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama sparked an online controversy after remarks about consciously supporting designers of color in her fashion choices went viral. In a conversation about her new fashion book The Look, she encouraged people to consider whose work they support in their wardrobes. Some social-media users misinterpreted or edited her comment to claim she was urging people to avoid white-owned brands, leading to racist accusations and heated debate online. Obama’s point was about increasing representation and mindful support of designers from underrepresented backgrounds, not excluding any group.
