Banning Russian Veterans From Europe

Estonia is urging the EU to impose a bloc-wide entry ban on former Russian soldiers who fought in Ukraine, arguing they pose a serious security risk. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said existing country-by-country measures are too slow and warned that many combatants could seek entry into Europe after the war. EU officials, including foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, acknowledged growing support for the proposal as the bloc prepares for a post-ceasefire scenario.
