While mainstream media reports holiday sales numbers, the weather, and other majority orientated content, others are reporting new Terms of Service agreements for large telecommunication companies. Companies like T-Mobile are defending their new TOS by staying,
"These specific terms of service are for commercial/enterprise users of the T-Mobile network. This does not directly apply to P2P (Peer to peer) messaging."
Ramp things up a few notches, how long before they're applied to consumer messaging or tied to bank accounts? Perhaps never, but history suggest being wary.

It won't be long before all telecommunications and social media companies have the authority to read and sensor text messages. The updated policy, scheduled to go live in 2024, will be positioned as a safety feature for users.
