US and China Trade War, A Dangerous Game
As of April 9, 2025, the U.S.-China trade conflict has escalated significantly, marked by increased tariffs and retaliatory measures. President Trump announced a 125% tariff on Chinese imports, escalating from previous percentages, while delaying implementing all other tariffs by 90 days. In response, China imposed an 84% tariff on U.S. goods and restricted business with 18 American companies, primarily in defense-related industries.
