Acetaminophen, widely used in the U.S. under the brand name Tylenol, is considered safe and effective when used as directed, with around 52 million Americans using it weekly. Despite its popularity and proven ability to relieve pain and reduce fever, scientists still don't fully understand how it works. Theories suggest it may interfere with enzymes that produce pain-related chemicals or influence the body’s cannabinoid system. Experts believe its effectiveness may have limited the push to fully uncover its mechanism.

Although acetaminophen is widely used and considered safe when taken as directed, the lack of understanding about how it works is effectively letting social media comment on Bitcoin without understanding how the world's financial system or block technology works. The reality that influencers do it all the time, doesn't make it any safer for investors.

The complex nature of human physiology also hides unknown side effects, especially in sensitive groups like pregnant individuals. This is likely what Trump is talking about. Without knowing its exact mechanism of control, potential drug interactions could also be missed, and misuse remains a concern due to its presence in many products. Finally, deeper knowledge could advance pain research and lead to new treatments. Overall, this knowledge gap restricts both safety and scientific progress.
Olive oil which contains oleocanthal, a compound with effects similar to ibuprofen, is rarely discussed. There's no profit in natural products.
