Chicago Bears Leave Chicago After 100+ Years
Chicago Bears are unlikely to build a new stadium in Chicago, according to JB Pritzker, as site and transportation challenges stalled city plans. The team is now weighing a move to Arlington Heights or possibly to Indiana, where lawmakers advanced a proposal to create a stadium authority in Hammond. Illinois officials say they’re open to infrastructure support but won’t overcommit taxpayer funds.
