US Iran War Carries Major Risks
Donald Trump is reportedly considering a US attack on Iran but will wait a few more days for Tehran to respond to US demands to halt nuclear enrichment. At the urging of envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Trump is allowing limited time for negotiations, though he has continued to threaten military action and build up US forces in the region. Reports say he may consider allowing limited “token” enrichment as part of a deal while keeping all options, including possible strikes, on the table.
